# Introduction

MaxiPool is the first decentralized mining pool of Chia blockchain. It aims to provide the secure, scalable, and fair pooling service to all Chia miners.

The Pool charges 2.5% commission fee. However, the pool will reward the miners with MAXI governance tokens to compensate the pool fee.

All MAXI token holders can participate in the governance of the MaxiDAO, which is the DAO org to govern the pool service and other services developed by the DAO.
