# Introduction

Since the beginning of birth, the tenets of the crypto industry have always been transparent, permissionless, and community-driven. Guided by those principles, our industry brings about countless innovations and success at blazing speed. DeFi and NFT communities are forming and growing like wildflowers; however, one of the oldest sectors of the crypto industry, mining, are left behind by the democratization of governance. Our mission is to introduce decentralized governance and profit-sharing into mining and bridge the gap between miners and the ever-growing broader DeFi and NFT community. WXCH will be our first attempt and the MAXI token is the way.
